Many Chinese dishes have been infused with some fine India spices. Here are a few Indo-Chinese dishes which are a must-try and can be easily prepared.

India has enjoyed the unique and oriental flavours of China for ages. The Indian population soon realised that these flavours can be combined with a touch of Indian spices, which will create a unique fusion of both the cuisines. The Indo-Chinese cuisine is said to be developed by a small Chinese community in the heart of Kolkata. Many Chinese dishes have been infused with some fine India spices and have become an integral part of the Indian cuisine. Here are some must-try Indo-Chinese dishes.

Indo-Chinese Chicken Manchurian

Considered as one of the most popular Indo Chinese dishes, Chicken Manchurian is one of the few Indo-Chinese dishes which are also available as a vegetarian option. Chicken Manchurian includes fried pieces of diced chicken, marinated in spicy and tangy sauces, topped with some sesame seeds and herbs. Complement the fried chicken with some Manchurian gravy.

Chilli Paneer

Mostly preferred by vegetarians, Chilli Paneer is the infusion of fresh paneer with some Chinese spices. The dish also comes with some Indo-Chinese gravy which adds to the flavour. Chilli Paneer is tossed with some onions and peppers, cooked in soya sauce. The dish can be complemented with rice and noodles and can be served with some Szechuan sauce.

Indo-Chinese Lamb Chilli Pepper

The simple recipe makes the minced meat a bit more exciting and is ideal for a quick dinner. Fried in batter and cooked with chilli pepper, Lamb Chilli Pepper serves fried lamb, sautéed with diced onions, pepper and Chinese five-spice. The dish is served with some chilli sauce and can be served with some rice and noodles. It can be infused with cumin, pepper and burnt garlic.
