Leftover food is one of the biggest concerns of every household. Throwing away the food can be disheartening and so many people try to reuse the leftover food and make it again with a new recipe. Some find it tough, but it is no rocket science. One can use leftover food efficiently and prepare delicious meals, and serve the entire family. Here are some of the simplest dishes that one can try while reusing the leftover food from previous night's dinner.

Masala Idli

Leftover over Idlis can be turned into an amazing tasty delicacy. Just a few changes and yesterday's leftover Idli dinner can be turned into today's delicious breakfast. All a person has to do is to cut them into four halves and pan-fry with jeera, oil, chillis, onions, tomatoes and spices.

Stuffed Grilled Sandwiches

This is just too easy to prepare, and even an amateur can make it anytime at home. Take the leftover sabzi and make sandwiches. All a person has to do is to stuff the sabzi inside two slices of bread. Then grill them with some butter. Use any sabzi whether aloo, rajma or potato curry. A person can also add more stuff like cheese, mayonnaise, and more according to their taste.

Chapati Poha

This dish is cooked with leftover chapatis. A person always wonders what to do with leftover chapatis, and they end up heating them in an oven and to eat it. But, a person can always prepare a very new dish out of chapatis like Chapati Poha. All a person has to do is, replace the flat rice with leftover chapatis after chopping or cutting them into pieces. The entire recipe of poha remains the same. Make sure the chapatis are soft and not hard, to prevent this from happening, do not forget to reheat them.
