World Food Day which is celebrated every year on October 16 commemorates the foundation of the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). FAO works on causes related to food supply and distribution and contributes to increasing awareness for these causes. World Food Day also celebrates the substantiality of food in our lives. Hence here four Indian cities are known for its food that you should visit for some mouth-watering dishes.

1.  Delhi

The capital of India and also one of the Union territories of our country is known for its mouth-watering street food. Delhi is filled with little food outlets which not only serve staple dishes like paranthas and chole bhature but also at a reasonable price. So if you are on a budget while traveling to this city, do not worry Delhi has got you covered. Do not forget to binge on chaat items, kebabs and Nalli Nihari.

2. Lucknow

There are several other dishes which the city serves and enchants its visitors with.
