Recently, the festival of Diwali was celebrated in India. This festival is celebrated by lighting up fireworks. These fireworks cause a lot of pollution and tend to cause immense damage to the ozone layer of the Earth. People are experiencing problems like breathing problems, headaches, and nausea because of pollution. Also, in general, pollution has become a major cause in India. Therefore, doctors recommend anti-pollution masks. Here is a list of different anti-pollution masks that can help you to prevent problems caused by pollution.

N99 and N100 air masks

According to research by a health portal, the N99 and N100 air masks are capable of filtering PM 2.5 airborne particulate matter with up to 99 to 99.97 percent efficiency. However, these masks are not resistant to oil-based pollutants. It is reusable and works for 6 months if used regularly.

N95 mask

It is one of the most commonly used anti-pollution masks. N95 mask filters up to 95 percent of particulate matter from 0.3 to 2.5PM. It is available only in one size and can be reused for 2-3 days if used regularly.

P95 mask

According to a report by a leading daily, These masks are expensive as compared to that of an N mask. The difference between an N mask and a P mask is. N Mask cannot filter oil-based pollutants whereas P mask can. They also need to be frequently replaced in comparison to the N mask. They can only be used for 8 hours.

Air purification motion mask

This mask is a highly protective mask. It has 6 layers that can cancel any type of pollutants. It is advisable for severe conditions of pollution in cities like Delhi. The purification efficiency of the mask is 99.95 percent. The filters can be replaced and the mask should be charged for the fans inside it to work as per research by the International Institution of health.

Respro Mask

It filters particulate matter rating PM10. The mask is stretchable, which gives it the best fit. It can be reused for 69 hours. It is available in three basic sizes. It is an affordable mask.
