What is Surya Namaskar?

Surya Namaskar, also known as Sun Salutation, is a profound yogic practice that combines a sequence of twelve physical postures with controlled breathing. Surya Namaskar is a series of yoga poses performed in a fluid sequence, traditionally practised facing the rising or setting sun. Each posture is synchronized with specific breathing patterns, creating a harmonious flow of movement. The twelve poses encompass a range of forward and backwards bends, stretches, and inversions, providing a comprehensive workout for the entire body.
