The fourth edition of the India International Cherry Blossom Festival of 2019 is going to start soon. Shillong is going to host the festival again, which is making tourists happy and eager to visit the place. The festival was started to celebrate the unique autumn flowering of Himalayan Cherry Blossoms filled with numerous cultural events happening in Shillong, Meghalaya.

This International Year of Indigenous Languages makes the Republic of Korea to be a partner country for the occasion. This is why the visitors will be able to experience several K-events, including a K-Pop concert and also a K-cuisine stall. This festival also exhibits opportunities for education in South Korea.

When is it going to take place?

The grand festival will begin from November 13th and will last till November 16th. Every day of the festival has various events and activities planned for the tourists. The four-day fun festival is something that many travellers and localities are looking forward to.

There are going to be various events in the four-day-long festival. The highlight of the first-day includes Fashion show, fitness art, unplugged western music and more. The second day includes events like Cherry Blossom run, Dog Show, DJ music, Colours of North East and more. The following day has functions that involve a Cosplay competition, Taekwondo, Rock Show and more. Finally, on the fourth day, the festival will end with golf, football, K-pop concert and others.
