Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James scored a vicious dunk on Saturday when the Lakers met Sacramento Kings in the NBA. It could arguably be his best dunk of the year. The Lakers beat the Kings 99-97.
Late in the second quarter of the game, the Sacramento Kings were leading 48-45 when the ball went to LeBron James. The 34-year-old attacked the basket without hesitation and threw down the ball into the hoop with authority. Nemanja Bjelica, unfortunately, was on the wrong end of the King’s dunk as he stood in front in hopes of distracting James.
LeBron James recorded 29 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds in 39 minutes for the Lakers. The game was an interestingly close affair but a 29-20 and 25-21 win for the Lakers in the second and the third quarters respectively was enough to see them through. Anthony Davis was also back from injury for the Lakers and recorded 17 points and 2 assists.
The LA Lakers continued their fine form this season with the win over the Kings on Saturday. They lead the Western Conference with 10 wins and two losses. Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings drop to 12 in the same conference with 4 wins and 7 losses. LeBron James and the Lakers will now be preparing for their next game against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
