India have moved to the top of the ACC Asia Cup 2023 points table after securing a massive victory over arch-rivals Pakistan on Monday.

IND vs PAK: The Asia Cup 2023 Super Fours, featuring four prominent teams from the continent competing for the championship title, is currently underway in Sri Lanka. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka have successfully advanced to the semi-final stage of this prestigious tournament, while Afghanistan and Nepal have been eliminated from contention after the conclusion of the group stage. India defeated Pakistan by a massive margin of 228 runs to secure their maiden points in the points table.

ACC Asia Cup 2023: Updated points table after IND vs. PAK clash
India have moved to the top of the ACC Asia Cup 2023 points table after securing a massive victory over arch-rivals Pakistan on Monday. Batting first, India scored 356/2 in 50 overs in the first innings that spanned over two days. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli both scored centuries to help their side take a commanding position in the match. Kuldeep Yadav spun the web in the second innings, taking five wickets to his name as Pakistan were wrapped up for 128/8. Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah did not bat due to injury concerns.

India to take on Sri Lanka in their next Asia Cup Super 4s clash
Sri Lanka are second on the table, followed by Pakistan and Bangladesh. Sri Lanka and Pakistan have also won one match each and have two points to their names, however, India have moved up based on superior net run rate. Bangladesh are yet to win a match in the Super 4 stage. India's next match is against Sri Lanka on September 12. Bangladesh's will play their last game against India on September 15.
