The 'Universe Boss' Chris Gayle took to his Twitter to wish former Indian opening batsman Virendra Sehwag on his birthday. Virender Sehwag celebrates his 41st birthday on Sunday, October 20. Chris Gayle and Virendra Sehwag played together in the IPL 2019, where Sehwag mentored the team, shortly after he retired from all formats of the game. Notably, Sehwag was KXIP’s mentor in 2016 after being a player for two seasons for the team.

The explosive opener from Delhi amassed 8,586 runs in Tests and 8,273 runs in ODIs during his international career that spanned for over two decades. If there was one Indian batsman who terrified the bowlers as long as he was in the crease, it was Virender Sehwag.
