Deepak Chahar gets called 'Besharam Aadmi' by Yuzvendra Chahal

Deepak Chahar registered bowling figures of 6/7 in 3rd T20I vs Bangladesh, becoming the first Indian to take a hat-trick in the shortest format of the game.

Deepak Chahar on Sunday produced one of his best spells in T20I cricket picking up 6 wickets for 7 runs in his 4 overs, which also included a hat-trick as Bangladesh crumbled in their run chase and lost the match by 30 runs as well as the series 2-1.

Deepak Chahar hat-trick 

The pacer became the first Indian to take a hat-trick in the shortest format of the game. Chahar dismissed one batsman on the last ball of the 18th over and then he dismissed two batsmen in the opening two balls of the 20th over.

Yuzvendra Chahal pokes fun at Deepak Chahar

Chahar's teammate and legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Monday congratulated the pacer in a very quirky manner. The Board of Control for Cricket in India shared a video on Twitter in which Chahar and Shreyas Iyer can be seen talking to the legspinner on his talk-show 'Chahal TV'. Speaking on the show, Chahal said in a fun segment that Chahar broke his bowling record and called him a 'shameless man' in Hindi.

Chahar too was pleased with his efforts. Speaking on Chahal TV he said that he didn't realize that he had taken the hat-trick and it is a nice feeling to achieve it.

Yuzvendra Chahal record

Chahal, who was playing his 34th T20 International, took his 50th T20I wicket on the fifth ball of the 17th over when he took out Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah's stumps. This made Chahal the fastest Indian to get to this landmark in T20I cricket. He is also the fifth-fastest in the world. He became the third Indian bowler to achieve this feat and is only preceded by veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

India defeated Bangladesh by 30 runs on Sunday to win the three-match series 2-1. Chasing 175 for the win, Bangladesh was bundled out for 144.
