A young Sri Lankan team toured Pakistan last month for a limited-overs series. After losing the ODI series 2-0, the Lankans came back strongly in the T20Is against the hosts. Sri Lanka, who are ranked seventh in ICC T20I team rankings, surprised World No 1 side Pakistan by a 3-0 series win. The Lasith Malinga-led Sri Lankan unit will now be looking to replicate the same success ‘Down Under’.
