Wishes have been pouring in for Mohammad Kaif on the occasion of his 38th birthday on December 1. Though he has retired from all forms of cricket today, anyone who has watched his performances on the field stills remembers him. The 38-year-old's dynamic fielding and blistering pace between the wickets are moments that an Indian cricket lover won’t forget that easily. And the same goes for his ex-teammates and other Indian players who conveyed their birthday greetings to Kaif on his special day.

From the veterans like Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Virender Singh and Harbhajan Singh to the newer lot of players like Irfan Pathan, Cheteshwar Pujara and Shikhar Dhawan took to Twitter to wish Kaif on the occasion of his birthday.

But the most special wish of the day was from Yuvraj Singh. Yuvi and Kaif are often mentioned in the same breath for two reasons. One for their fielding partnership on the off-side, memorable for their dives and quick movements to save crucial runs for the team. The other is their epic batting partnership in the 2002 NatWest series final that saved India from the jaws of defeat.

And Yuvraj went back in time to talk about a moment after their most memorable match together while wishing the birthday boy. Sharing a picture from the epic day where we see Yuvraj talking on a call and looking at Kaif as the latter poses for the camera, the former asked him if he remembered the picture.

Kaif replied that he remembered the fake phone call and called him a great actor while conveying his gratitude to his birthday message.
