Rajasthan Royals lost their final league game against Delhi Capitals at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Saturday. As a result of this loss, their journey in this season's IPL came to an end. The inaugural edition winners finished on the seventh position at the points table having registered five wins with 11 points. After the 2008 champions were shown the door, one of their players was criticised on social media once again. He was none other than Jaydev Unadkat.

When the 27-year old had tweeted about what he was up to, an angry netizen requested him to enroll at a Cricket Academy and learn how to bowl. Read the tweet here.

However, the left-arm medium pacer handled the situation calmly and replied back to the troll by saying that he has already enrolled into one and will be enrolled forever till the time he keeps playing the game passionately as he believes that learning never stops irrespective of success or failure. At the same time, he hit back at the critics by hoping that even they might have learned something after having hurled abuses at him throughout the season.

There were fans who told him that this was not an abuse and that he needs to accept criticisms during failures.

While there were others who backed the bowler.

Unadkat was already a subject of memes and was also trolled for his string of disappointing performances in this season. The 27-year old was not at his best in the previous season as well. Unadkat had finished as the second highest wicket-taker in the 2017 edition with 24 wickets. He had represented the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant who had made it to the finals. The Saurashtra bowler was then roped in by Rajasthan Royals in the last edition for a whopping Rs.11.5 Crore. Nonetheless, Unadkat could not do justice to his price tag as he managed only 11 scalps in 15 games as a result of which he was not retained by the franchise. Surprisingly, the Royals bought him back for this season for Rs.8.4 Crore. He once again failed to make an impact as he could only manage to take 10 wickets in 11 games.
