South Africa ended day 3 of the first Ind vs SA Test match on 385/8 at Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Friday, October 4, 2019.

South Africa are trailing by 117 runs, with Senuran Muthusamy and Keshav Maharaj at the crease. On day 2, there was a moment in the match which led to a laughter riot. South African cricketer Aiden Markram found the hidden ball at the boundary rope. This happened after other fielders couldn't spot the ball.

India have so far dominated the first Test match against South Africa. This is India's first home series as a part of the ICC World Test Championship.

On day 2, both Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal starred for the Indian team in the first innings. Rohit Sharma scored an impressive knock of 176 runs off 244 balls while Mayank Agarwal accompanied him with a brilliant double century (215 off 371 balls). Strangely, both the batsmen hit 23 fours and six sixes each in their knocks. And there was a moment when the ball behaved mischievously in the match as if it has got its own mind, trying to hide.

Ind vs SA: The hidden ball search

Proteas spinner Keshav Maharaj bowled a delivery that confused both Ravindra Jadeja and wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock in the 129th over. The mischievous ball raced to the leg side boundary for four. The ball got stuck between the boundary line and the two South African fielders kept searching for it. But it was Aiden Markram, fielding at midwicket who came down to the legside boundary and picked the ball up from between the boundary padding. On day 3, the two batsmen at the crease, Senuran Muthusamy and Keshav Maharaj will be looking to reduce the first innings gap between two teams as much as they can.
