India and South Africa's third and final T20I (international) of the three-match series is likely to be disrupted by rain. According to the weather department's predictions, thunderstorm and rains are likely in Bengaluru throughout the day. Earlier, the first match of the T20I series was abandoned due to the rain at Dharamsala. India won the second match of the series by seven wickets.

Quinton de Kock's comment

During the second T20I, Proteas skipper Quinton de Kock had stated that it is not ideal if matches get washed when there are only a few games to play in the preparation for T20 World Cup next year in Australia. He said that it is negative. They would like to play as many matches heading in the 20-20 world cup. The third and the final match of the T20I series is scheduled on Sunday at 7 pm IST at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. India currently has a 1-0 lead in the series. After the three-match series, India will face South Africa in the three-match test series as a part of the World Test Championship (WTC). According to reports, it will be South Africa's first series under the World Test Championship.
