One of the reasons which makes the 2020 IPL Auction very exciting is that the teams will have a plethora of quality international players to choose from. David Miller is one such player. Miller was signed by the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in 2011 and made his IPL debut in 2012. Since then, he became a classic IPL revelation and a KXIP mainstay, even captaining the side in 2016. Miller is KXIP's second-highest all-time run-scorer and is one of the few IPL players who has stayed with one franchise throughout his years in the tournament. Now that he has been released by the Mohali side, let us take a look at three teams who could avail Miller's services at the upcoming auctions.

Mumbai Indians

The Mumbai Indians (MI) bought David Miller at the 2018 Auctions after an intense battle with the Sunrisers, only for the Proteas batsman to be retained by KXIP through their RTM card. Miller could provide a lot of solidity to the Mumbai middle-order now that Yuvraj Singh and Evin Lewis have been released. Miller could also bat well at the Wankhede pitch which tends to support explosive batsmen better.

Kolkata Knight Riders

With the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) having released some crucial batsmen like Chris Lynn and Robin Uthappa, Miller could be a good top-order addition to the team. Miller can add to the explosive power that the team brings with Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shubman Gill and deepen the batting prowess of an already explosive team.

Delhi Capitals

The Delhi Capitals (DC) lack an overseas batsman in their team at the moment after they released Chris Morris, Colin Ingram, and Colin Munro. Miller could fill in that slot perfectly and since Delhi already have a very solid batting lineup, Miller could be relieved of pressure allowing him to score more freely. Miller was also batting at number four or five in his recent KXIP outings and Delhi happen to have a slot in those exact positions.
