Ajeet Kumar, who has been working for Indian Railways for the past 15 years, became the latest contestant on KBC to win ₹1 crore. His next and final question was a cricket-based one which could have multiplied that amount by 7 times. The question was “Who is the first cricketer to score two T20 International fifties on the same day in two different matches?”. Among the four options provided to him, the answer was Mohammad Shahzad. Afghanistan’s explosive opening batsman Shahzad achieved this feat when he smashed back-to-back 50+ scores on the same day during the 2017 Desert T20 Challenge. Not knowing the answer, Ajeet Kumar decided to quit the game and pocketed the ₹1 crore prize.

After he quit, host Amitabh Bachchan asked Ajeet to guess the answer. However, having no clue about the same, he got the answer wrong. Ajeet Kumar still left the show with a hefty amount and an absolute delight as reflected from his cheerfulness before leaving the KBC platform.
