Kevin Pietersen never hesitates in entertaining his fans on social media with different types of unique and innovative strategies. Pietersen had earlier photoshopped himself in two images which were related to Bollywood movie songs. In the first instance, a morphed image of KP shaking a leg with Madhuri Dixit and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan in 'Dhola Re' from the movie Devdas left one in all in splits. Things did not end there as KP's morphed image made yet another appearance in another song named 'Disco Deewane' from the movie Student Of The Year which had Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra in the lead roles. In this image, a tremendous amount of creativity was used as Varun Dhawan was replaced by Kevin Pietersen. This time, the former England skipper decided to take his creativity to the next level on the field as KP decided to enjoy the game of cricket in a unique way.
Kevin Pietersen has already bid adieu from all forms of cricket and is now engaged as a commentator and is also a businessman. However, KP has now ensured that he has not stayed away from the game of cricket completely. The ex-England captain took some time out to play cricket. But, the difference is that it was blindfolded cricket.
"I am Kevin Pietersen and this is blindfolded cricket".
After introducing himself, the former England batsman covered his face with a bandana and gets ready for the blindfold cricket challenge. However, the biggest challenge for Kevin Pietersen was that instead of a bowler, there was a bowling machine from which the balls were bowled. In the beginning, Pietersen is castled even before taking a stance. Surprisingly, in his next attempts, the veteran England batsman smacks the ball out of the park. In one of the attempts, KP also performs a switch hit which connects well with his bat and goes for a six. The video of Kevin Pietersen's blindfold cricket was posted by him on Instagram. Take a look.
Kevin Pietersen made his debut in 2004 and was no longer active in international cricket after 2014. In his 10-year cricketing career, KP had represented England in 104 Tests, 136 One Day Internationals and 37 T20Is. The South African born cricketer had not only captained England but was also a part of the England squad that had won the ICC World T20 in 2010.
