David Warner notched up his fourth century in IPL against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday. He got to the three figure mark in the final over of SRH's innings by smashing Mohammad Siraj for a boundary. With this ton Warner also topped the chart of 'Orange Cap' list with 254 runs at a strike rate of 175.15. The destructive Australian opener played an outstanding knock of an unbeaten 55-ball 100 which included five boundaries and five maximums at a strike rate of 181.82.

Being put into bat first by RCB skipper Virat Kohli, SRH got off to a brisk start as David Warner and Jonny Bairstow stitched in a third consecutive 100 run opening stand. The duo put on 185 runs before Bairstow (114) was dismissed in the 16th over. Warner had been playing a supporting role to Bairstow's splendid knock. Post the Englishman's dismissal, Warner anchored the innings and took SRH to a huge total of 231/2 in their 20 overs.
