Being put into bat first by RCB skipper Virat Kohli, SRH got off to a brisk start as David Warner and Jonny Bairstow stitched in a third consecutive 100 run opening stand. The duo put on 185 runs before Bairstow (114) was dismissed in the 16th over. Warner had been playing a supporting role to Bairstow's splendid knock. Post the Englishman's dismissal, Warner anchored the innings and took SRH to a huge total of 231/2 in their 20 overs.
