Indian bowler Deepak Chahar who rattled the Bangladeshi well-set batsmen to clinch the match and the series for India was lauded by Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi. Deepak Chahar displayed an outstanding spell of bowling as his six-wicket haul, which includes a hatrick helped India register a 30-run win in the third and final T20I at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur on Sunday, November 10. Taking to his Twitter, Sighvi heaped praises over Chahar's stellar show stating it to be one of the best bowling figures for a newcomer.

With his exceptional performance, Chahar also set a new. world record of becoming the first Indian to bag a hat trick and returning with best ever bowling by any cricketer in history with a six-wicket haul for just 7 runs in 3.2 overs.

India clinch the series
After being put to bat by Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah Riyad, the visitors got off to a good start as Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was dismissed early. Youngsters KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer then took the initiative as both scored half-centuries. Rahul scored a superb 35-ball 52 at a strike rate of 148.57 while Iyer played a stellar cameo of 33-ball 62. Bangladesh was reduced to 12/2 but Mohammad Naim and Mohammad Mithun fought back for the visitors with a 98-run stand for the third wicket. In the end, the pressure of the required run rate got the better of him as he was bowled by Shivam Dube for a spectacular 48-ball 81 at a strike rate of 168.75 including 10 fours and two sixes. The other batsmen could not do much and Bangladesh were eventually bundled out for 144 in the final over.
