Ravi Bopara is one of the most talented players for the England cricket team who plays in all the three cricket formats. The all-rounder has the best bowling figures for England in T20 international. He made his T20 debut on 13 June against New Zealand in the year 2008. Ravi has played 38 T20 matches and scored 711 runs.

The English cricketer played his last game for the Essex county cricket club lately. There are speculations that the cricketer has signed a contract with the Sussex team. In the year 2016, he also took over the captaincy for the Essex team. Later that year, he handed over his captaincy to Ryan ten Doeschate to focus on his own game.

Ravi Bopara shared his emotions

The 34-year-old recently tweeted about his emotions and talking about the 18 years he spent with the Essex team. Ronnie Irani gave Ravi Bopara the opportunity to play in the Essex team. Although, the cricketer thanked his mentor Graham Gooch who was with him in the journey of cricket. Here is the tweet he posted.

Ryan Ten Doeschate the current captain of the Essex team talked about Ravi where he said that they are sad to let Ravi go. He said this on behalf of all the team members. He further added that Ravi has always been extremely popular in the dressing room. He also added that Bopara was an unbelievably talented person, who was friendly and often witty. He praised him for his cricket sense while at the club. 

He further praised Ravi and said that he was a great teammate and a fiercely loyal friend. Furthermore, he expressed how pleased he was that Bopara was leaving the club after playing on a high note. He also spoke highly of his T20 form which won them the championship. He said that it will be different to play against him later on.
