On Wednesday, Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin and wife Prithi Ashwin completed eight years of marriage. Ashwin and his wife never fail to amuse their fans by their Twitter and Instagram banters.

Ashwin's wife had wished him on their anniversary on Twitter as she wrote ' 8 with @ashwinravi99 . Hard work'. She jokingly said how it was hard work for her to bear Ashwin for the past eight years.

The Indian spinner replied to his wife's tweet with a cheeky reply as he wrote on Twitter 'Hardwork never fails @prithinarayanan'. He acknowledged that it was indeed hard to put up with him for eight years but also lauded her saying that hard work never fails.

It was during his school days that Ashwin first laid his eyes on Prithi. A friendship blossomed between the two and went on to grow stronger when both of them enrolled in the same college together. The couple joined SSN College of Engineering in Chennai and it was there that love blossomed between the two. 

It was in 201, that the couple finally decided to take the next step. The couple opted for a low-key engagement ceremony towards the beginning of the year and went for a grand wedding on November 13, 2011. The couple tied the knot as per the traditional Tamil wedding customs. They have two daughters - Akhira and Adhya.

Other than this cute exchange, many fans also took to social media to wish and bless the sassy couple as they complimented them for their adorable conversations and captions.
