Sachin Tendulkar finds a fan in Yohan Blake, former Olympic champion wants an autograph

The former world champion Yohan Blake is set to travel to India. Blake is a Jamaican sprinter who is recognised for winning 100m gold at the 2011 World Championships and a silver medal the very next year at the Olympics in London. The former Olympian will arrive in India early in December for promoting the Road Safety World Series and will be participating in activities to help create awareness around road safety in the country.

Yohan Blake opens up on his admiration for Sachin Tendulkar ahead of India visit

Yohan Blake recently opened up on his upcoming visit and spoke on a number of topics about Road Safety. Speaking of the initiative, Blake stated that it would be easier for the organisers to achieve what they aim for, given the kind of love India has towards cricket and how they idolise the cricket players. It also turned out that the former Olympic silver medallist is a huge fan of batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and during his visit to the country, he would like to take the autograph of the legend. Sachin Tendulkar, who is the Brand Ambassador of the upcoming world series will be featured in the tournament.

The tournament, which will kick off early in February next year, would be an annual T20 cricket tournament involving fierce rivalry between legends from different nations. Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Bret Lee, Brian Lara and Jonty Rhodes are amongst the many big names who will be featured in the Road Safety World Series. They will also look to impart the message around road safety during the tournament. Meanwhile, Yohan Blake who has won a silver at the 2012 London Olympics, will look to win gold in the 100m and 200m events at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
