England head coach Chris Silverwood says all options are "on the table" when it comes to the team lineup ahead of the second Test with India in Chennai.

Silverwood says he has an abundance of bowling talent so can afford to rest James Anderson, despite the seamer's brilliant display on the final day of the opening Test, where he took three wickets.

However, he may also keep Anderson in the XI and play Stuart Broad as well, contravening England's rotation policy this year in a full schedule.

Up to 15,000 fans per day will be allowed in to the MA Chidambaram Stadium for the second Test and Silverwood welcomes them, saying they will bring some atmosphere to the match.

He added he is not concerned about any safety issues with fans in attendance.
