The Trinbago Knight Riders have taken their perfect record into the final of the Caribbean Premier League.

Lendl Simmons hit consecutive boundaries to end the first over to finish 54 not out and Tion Webster added 44 as the Knight Riders, 111-1, beat the Jamaica Tallawahs, 107-7, by nine wickets in a semifinal Tuesday.

Simmons and Webster shared an unbeaten 97-run stand.

The Knight Riders, who won all 10 games in the round-robin portion of the Twenty20 tournament, will play the winner of the second semifinal later Tuesday between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and St. Lucia Zouks.

The final is scheduled for Thursday, also at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

The Knight Riders were led by their two left-arm spinners — Akeal Hosein (3-14) and Khary Pierre (2-29).

Nkrumah Bonner was the top batsman for the Tallawahs with 41.
