Karnataka won the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy at home, beating rivals Tamil Nadu by 60 runs via the Duckworth Lewis method in a rain-affected match. We take a look at the top five batsmen who have scored heavily during the entire tournament and also created records along the way.

Devdutt Padikkal

The Karnataka opener has been in smashing form for his side in the entire tournament. Along with KL Rahul, he has been a formidable opening pair in the star-studded batting line-up. The left-handed batsman has scored a total of 609 runs in 11 matches which includes 2 centuries and 11 half-centuries.

Abhinav Mukund

The Tamil Nadu left-hander has been the highest run-getter for his side in this year's tournament and second in the list of overall run-getters. The opener has scored 600 runs in 12 matches so far, which includes one century and four half-centuries.

KL Rahul

The Karnataka opener had a point to prove after been dropped from the national side and the right-hander did it in style by scoring heavily in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Rahul scored 598 runs in 11 matches at an average of 66.64. He scored one century and five half-centuries in the entire tournament.

Baba Aparajith

The 25-year-old Tamil Nadu all-rounder has been a consistent performer for the Tamil Nadu side in the domestic tournament for years. He once again proved his worth with the bat scoring 598 runs in 11 matches and helping the side to reach the final. He scored one century and six half-centuries in the entire tournament.

Yashasvi Jaiswal

The 17-year-old Mumbai batsman created a record by becoming the youngest-ever to score a double hundred in List-A cricket. Jaiswal scored 203 in 154 balls against Jharkhand to take his side to victory. Overall, the left-hander had a remarkable tournament, scoring 564 runs in six matches. He scored three centuries and one half-century in the entire tournament.
