Virat Kohli plays gully cricket ahead of Test match in Indore

Indian Captain Virat Kohli, who took some time off during the T20 against Bangladesh, was seen playing a session of gully cricket with the kids in Indore

Indian Captain Virat Kohli, who took some time off during the T20 against Bangladesh was seen back in action. But this time the star batsman was playing against the kids in Indore. In a video that took the internet by a storm, the Skipper was seen playing with the kids during a gully cricket session in Indore at the Shreeji Valley Bicholi area. The video seems to have been captured during an ad shoot which Kohli and the kids were part of.

Dressed in jeans and a casual shirt, Virat Kohli was still seen hitting the big shots as the kid bowls to the skipper. Kohli will now be leading India in the Test series against Bangladesh which is slated to begin on November 14. In the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma led India to a 2-1 series win over Bangladesh in the T20I series.

Kohli hits the nets 

Indian skipper Virat Kohli hit the nets at the team's practice on Tuesday. The captain was seen practising some sumptuous shots as slammed the pink ball with his iconic drives and blocks. This comes ahead of the first Day/Night Test (the second Test in the series) which India is scheduled to play on November 22 against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens which will feature the pink ball. With a lot of speculation surrounding the pink ball's behaviour, the Indian team has ensured to prepare well in advance. Earlier in the day, Indian batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane who have played with the pink ball in domestic cricket said that the team is confident of adapting to the new feature. 

In a bid to prepare for the historic Day/Night Test, India players will train under lights ahead of the 1st Test in Indore. As per reports, the India team management had requested Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association to allow them to train in the evening session.
