Virat Kohli has been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) since the start of Indian Premier League (IPL). Over the years, he has led the side (RCB) from the front and has played many memorable innings. He has also gone onto score a total of 4418 runs in IPL, which is the second-highest runs in history and the highest runs scored for a single franchise.

As Kohli turns 31 today we look at memorable knocks for RCB in IPL:

113 vs Kings XI Punjab ( 2016)

Virat Kohli tore apart KXIP bowling attack right from the very first ball of the match to register his highest T20 score. What makes the innings more special is he scored runs with a split webbing in his left hand. In his innings, Kohli hit 8 huge sixes and 12 fours, sending the fans crazy at the Chinnaswamy.

109  vs Gujarat Lions (2016)

Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina was left to wonder as to what hit them. The explosive pair of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli launched an attack against the Lions bowling unit. The match also witnessed a record been made as Virat Kohli (109) and De Villiers (129*) stitched the highest-ever IPL partnership of an unbroken 229 for the second wicket.

108* vs Rising Pune Supergiants( 2016)

Virat Kohli was in fantastic form with the bat and scored his second hundred that season. Chasin a huge score of 192, Kohli played captains innings which was well supported by Shane Watson with his explosive batting. It was Virat who stole the show

75* vs Kolkata Knight Riders(2016)

The match in which he sustained the split webbing before the memorable hundred against KXIP, he found his good mate AB de Villiers for support again and played some crisp drives along with his signature flicks to guide RCB home in their bid of chasing 184 without too much fuss.

93* vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (2013)

Chasing 162 runs for victory RCB had Chris Gayle and AB Devilliers returning to the Pavillion quite early.  It looked like the Bengaluru side will once again press the self-destruction button, but Kohli had some other ideas.  The RCB skipper went after leg spinner Amit Mishra and pacer Ishant Sharma to reach the target within 18 overs and make the total look incredibly small.
