India will be eager to prove why they are the top-ranked Test side in the ongoing three-match Test series against South Africa as the Virat Kohli-led side look to regain the Freedom Trophy and dominate the ICC World Test Championship rankings as India are on the summit of the points table with 120 points after having won both Test matches in West Indies. Coming back to Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper had an outstanding day on Day 1 of the first Test which is being played in Vizag. First, he won the toss and elected to bat first. Even though Kohli did not come out to bat, he was seen having some fun in the dressing room.

Virat Kohli entertains his team-mates

Openers Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal got India off to a flying start. The duo saw off the new ball well and then took command as the South African pacers and spinners were taken to the cleaners. However, what stood the most was that of Virat Kohli's funny behaviour in the dressing room. With his team in a strong position, the skipper looked relaxed and pulled off a comical act which left his team-mates, Umesh Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav in splits. Even Virat was seen having a hearty laugh over it as well. The video of this hilarious incident was posted by the Indian Cricket Team on social media.

Team India's run-fest at Vizag

Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal laid a solid foundation for India. The 'Hitman' who is making his comeback to Test cricket silenced his critics as he scored his fourth Test century. He scored a brilliant 244-ball 176. Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal notched up his maiden double ton in Test cricket ( 215 off 371 deliveries). The opening pair of Rohit and Mayank added 317 runs. Virat Kohli failed to capitalise as he could only manage a 40-ball 20 at a strike rate of 50. Barring Ravindra Jadeja, none of the batsmen could make too much impact once the openers were dismissed.
