India's skipper Virat Kohli enjoys an enormous fan base across numerous countries around the world, especially in Asia, and is regarded as one of the best cricketers of the contemporary era. A fan of Virat Kohli's, from Pakistan, expressed his love for Virat Kohli and urged the Indian skipper to play in Pakistan. The fan was spotted in Lahore during the third and final T20 clash against Pakistan and Sri Lanka on Wednesday. Sri Lanka thrashed Pakistan in the 3rd T20 to complete a series sweep - a much-needed win after losing the ODI series. Virat Kohli's fan became an instant sensation on Twitter and earned the love of the netizens as they showered him with respect.

Virat Kohli's fan wants him to play in Pakistan

Virat Kohli's fan expressed his love for the Indian skipper and went on to state that he was a big fan of Kohli. Holding a placard at the last T20 encounter between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in Lahore, the fan was spotted at the stands displaying the message, urging Virat Kohli to play cricket in Pakistan. Over the years, many fans from across the border have expressed their love for the Indian players and have invited them to strengthen relations with the neighbouring country via cricket. The fan's request went viral on social media, as netizens took to Twitter to shower their love and respect for the fan, with many optimistically hoping that Virat Kohli would soon play in Pakistan. Virat Kohli proposes double the points for an away win

Virat Kohli hailed the ICCC World Test Championship and said that the importance of each game has increased. Elaborating further, Virat Kohli said that under normal circumstances, the teams would try to draw the game in a three-match series, however, the teams now look to go for wins and get the extra points. Virat Kohli said that the matches were getting more interesting, the standards of the Test games were increasing and that the team has to extremely professional. Virat Kohli said that he would have wanted to see the teams winning away games to get double the points and said that he would have done so if it was left to him. However, the skipper said that so far the Test Championship edition was good and that further changes to it can be made only after the first edition is complete.
