Virat Kohli has had a successful tour of West Indies where Team India completed a whitewash against the Caribbeans in their own backyard. India won the T20I series 3-0, ODIs 2-0 and Tests 2-0 respectively. The Virat Kohli-led side retained their top spot in the Test rankings with comprehensive wins in both Antigua as well as Jamaica by huge margins of 318 and 257 runs respectively to reach the summit of the ICC World Test Championship with 120 points.
You have heard that right Virat Kohli had posted a picture of himself on social media where he was seen posing in trousers. It seems that Kohli might have shared this picture from a photoshoot. Take a look.
As long as we look within, we won't need to seek anything outside. 💫 pic.twitter.com/CvUVElZwjm— Virat Kohli (@imVkohli) September 5, 2019
Kohli's half-naked picture became a subject to some hilarious memes on social media. Here are a few of them.
Kohli had also put up some outstanding performances in the T20Is and ODI's. The Indian skipper scored a match-winning half-century against West Indies during the final T20I and then went on to score two consecutive centuries in the ODI's. Virat Kohli now has 43 ODI tons and is just seven away from surpassing Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI hundreds. After a successful outing against the West Indies, Virat Kohli was seen doing something strange. He had posted a half-naked picture of himself.
Virat Kohli might have had an outstanding series in the 50-overs format where he seems to be unstoppable for the moment and is the top-ranked ODI batsman in world cricket. However, the batting superstar did not have a great Test series. He could only manage a single half-century in two Tests. He was dismissed for a golden duck in the second innings of the second Test match and as a result of this, he was dethroned of the number one Test spot as Australia's Steve Smith overtook him to take the top spot. Kohli is now at the second spot and will be looking forward to making amends in the upcoming tour against South Africa from September 15 where India will be playing three-match T20Is followed by three Tests.
