Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and cricket fraternity pay tribute to brave soldiers on the 10th anniversary of 26/11 terror attack

26/11, 2008 - India faced a gruesome terror attack after 10 LeT terrorists marched into the city of Mumbai through sea from Pakistan, and in the course of the next four days, killed over 150 innocent citizens and security forces while injuring more than 300.

Ten years on, the country paid its homage and tributes to the martyrs, who lost their lives in the attack in the financial capital of India. Leading the way in paying tribute to the people who were killed was former Indian opener Virender Sehwag.

The 'Nawab of Najafgarh' posted two messages on the 10th anniversary of the 26/11 attack. In his first post, he applauded the sacrifice of the brave soldiers who fought the terrorists till the very end. His next message was particularly directed towards Tukaram Oble, a police officer who had given up his life saving others.

Commentator and cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle also posted a message on Twitter on the occasion. Like Sehwag, he also applauded the bravery of the soldiers while remembering their sacrifices.

Indian off-spinner and 'Turbanator' of Indian cricket, Harbhajan Singh also paid his tributes to the soldiers who fought off the terrorists and saved thousands of lives on 26/11, 2018.
