"We'll give it our all," says Lampard

The former Chelsea captain and midfielder on Wednesday hinted at making some changes to his side and said, "I will not take this game lightly, no matter what. The 4-0 defeat, I will not disregard it. However, it feels like a million miles away, they hurt us four times in a game that we particularly played well." When queried about if the Carabao Cup was the ideal first trophy to win, he said, "We want them all and we will target all the cups. It will be a big achievement though. A day at Wembley should never be taken lightly. However, not just for the young boys - we'll give it our all."

Chelsea's blazing young guns

After losing to United in the Premier League opener, Chelsea have seen a turn of events, as they have had a decent outing in both, the Premier League and Carabao Cup as well. In the Premier League standings, Chelsea stand on the fourth position whereas United have escaped the relegation zone with their last win and now stand seventh in the rankings. Chelsea's Tammy Abraham, in particular, has impressed the most having scored 8 goals in just 10 matches. Lampard's faith in the youth and his academy personnel has effectively paid off as the Blues stand on top in their UEFA Champions League group as well.

United, on the other hand, coming off a miserable start this season, will look to ante up their game after a recent change of events. The Red Devils recently beat Norwich City 2-0 in the Premier League and with two wins sit on top of their group in the Europa League. Ole's men also managed a draw against blazing guns Liverpool with Marcus Rashford scoring early in the game.
