Kylian Mbappe bound to move to Real Madrid, says Monaco vice-president
Ligue 1 team AS Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev reveals French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe is bound to be a Real Madrid player in the near future.

Kylian Mbappe has endured a smooth return to first-team football since his initial injury setback at the start of this season. His hat-trick against Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League after he came off the bench was another shining example of his attacking prowess. In a recent interview with French media, Mbappe's former boss at AS Monaco Vadim Vasilyev revealed that the French World Cup winner is bound to join Real Madrid, sooner rather than later.

Ever since his breakthrough season with AS Monaco in 2017, PSG star Kylian Mbappe was wanted by leading European clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester City, and even Barcelona. However, the youngster chose to remain in his homeland and join Paris Saint-Germain on a big-money contract as the Parisian club continue on their path to winning the Champions League trophy. Kylian Mbappe has gone from strength to strength since making his debut and is one of the key members of the club alongside Neymar, Edinson Cavani, Thiago Silva and Marco Verratti.

In a recent interview, Vasilyev revealed that Mbappe was close to joining 13-time UCL winners Real Madrid in the summer of 2017.
