On Sunday, Manchester United and Liverpool faced off at the Old Trafford in their much-anticipated Premier League clash. The match ended in a draw, with both sides scoring a goal each. Marcos Rashford put the hosts ahead during the 36th minute. January 15, 2017 – Manchester United 1 - Liverpool 1

A thrilling clash saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic head home a late equaliser to earn United a deserved point. James Milner’s penalty put the visitors ahead before Simon Mignolet kept United out with two stunning saves from shots fired by Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. But United finally levelled in the 84th-minute thanks to Ibrahimovic.

March 17, 2016 – Liverpool 1 - Manchester United 1

Manchester United and Liverpool took on each other in a rare Europa League clash in 2017 at the Old Trafford in what was a knockout match. Managed by Klopp, Liverpool began finding its feet after this game as they managed to salvage a thrilling 1-1 draw following Philippe Coutinho's 45th-minute goal cancelling out Anthony Martial's 32nd-minute penalty. Liverpool won the contest 3-1 on aggregate, knocking out Louis Van Gaal's men and moving on to the next round.

October 15, 2011 – Liverpool 1 - Manchester United 1

Going back to the glory days of Manchester United, Liverpool hosted their rivals at Anfield in a match which lived up to all expectations. Surprisingly, Liverpool took a 1-0 ahead with captain Steven Gerrard firing in the 68th minute. However, United save their faces courtesy the 81st-minute goal by Javier Hernandez.
