Premier League action is back this weekend with some interesting mid-table clashes that are bound to upset the order after Matchday 11. Liverpool are currently top of the table, having secured a dramatic 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last week. Pep Guardiola's Manchester City were also in fine form as they dispatched Aston Villa by three goals at the Etihad. Leicester City were the main headline-grabbers from Matchday 10, courtesy of their 9-0 battering of Southampton. Here's a look at the top fixtures from Premier League's Matchday 11.

Premier League Preview: Manchester City vs Southampton

It's close to 13 degrees Celsius in the city of Hampshire on Friday, but Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhutl will be sweating his socks off as his Southampton side pay a visit to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. Having conceded nine goals against Leicester City in their last Premier League game, and a further three in their Carabao Cup defeat to their opponents for this weekend, Southampton will have to be wary of a free-scoring City side. If Southampton concede three goals against City this game, they will have equalled the record for the most goals conceded over three games during one season, which currently stands at 15.

Premier League Preview: Liverpool vs Aston Villa

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are firing on, well, most cylinders this season. Despite not hitting their top form, the Reds are still top of the league, having secured nine wins in their first 10 Premier League games so far. With first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker back in goal for the Reds, Jurgen Klopp will have a close to a full-strength squad to choose from. Naby Keita is expected to be back in contention to make the matchday squad, having limped off in Liverpool's thrilling victory over Anfield in the Carabao Cup.

Premier League Preview: Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Both, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur head into this game having faced narrow defeats in their earlier fixtures. Marco Silva's side was robbed of a victory due to a Lucas Digne own-goal, while Spurs were on the receiving end of a second-half onslaught from Liverpool during their 2-1 defeat at Anfield. However, Mauricio Pochettino will be buoyed by his players returning to fitness, with Giovani Lo Celso back on the bench during their defeat to Liverpool. Another defeat for Everton could spell trouble for Marco Silva with his side sitting perilously close to relegation after 10 games.

Premier League Preview: Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

After a promising showing last season, Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves have blown hot and cold this season, as evident by their current position in the Premier League table. Unai Emery, meanwhile, faces a similar problem with Arsenal. After making some big signings in the summer transfer window, Arsenal have failed to click this season. Dani Ceballos, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe all started the game against Crystal Palace. The Gunners, however, could only manage a draw at the Emirates. However, Mesut Ozil could be brought out of his Premier League exile against Wolves in this fixture, after an impressive showing against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.
