Serie A: Antonio Conte claims Inter have been handed a tough schedule

After the 2-1 win against Brescia, Antonio Conte has expressed his dismay at the current match schedule list which will see Inter Milan play 7 games in 20 days.

Inter Milan sealed a crucial 2-1 win against Brescia on Tuesday night. In doing, Antonio Conte and Co moved to the top of the Serie A table for the moment with 25 points from 10 games. In-form strikers Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku scored for the Nerazzurri in front of the home fans at the San Siro. Inter coach Antonio Conte heaped praise on his players but also criticised the Inter Milan fixture list for the coming month.

Inter Milan have looked marvellous under new coach Antonio Conte since the start of the 2019-20 Serie A season. Although they have been second best in the UEFA Champions League, the Nerazzurri have been toe-to-toe with Juventus in the race for the Serie A title. Their upcoming schedule will see them face off against Bologna in the Serie A before taking on German giants Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Conte is also without the services of Stefano Sensi and Alexis Sanchez who are both out with injury. Inter Milan will be playing seven games in a span of just 20 days in the coming month. Antonio Conte is lashed out at their poorly planned schedule but added that his squad has the mental resolve to impress at such a crucial stage in the season.
