WATCH: Referee yellow cards Brazil legend Kaka just to take a selfie

Kaka was recently stopped & booked by a referee during an exhibition match against Israel only so that she could get a selfie clicked. Brazil beat Israel 4-2

Kaka might have bid adieu to football some time back, but it seems that his fans and well-wishers still have a lot of love for him.  A recent friendly match witnessed the Brazilian legend's fan following when he took to the field in a rare appearance.

A referee books Kaka only to get a selfie clicked

It so happened that during an exhibition match between Brazil and Israel, a referee from Israel named Lilach Asulin stopped Kaka during his stride and showed him a yellow card which left the Brazillian legend stunned. The players from the rival team also wondered what was happening and it was then that the referee made her intentions clear that she wanted to take a selfie with Kaka by taking her phone out to which the veteran footballer obliged. After the duo had taken the selfie, the Brazil players came forward and exchanged handshakes with Lilach Asulin. The video of this priceless moment was posted on social media. Brazil went on to beat Israel by a 4-2 margin.

Kaka's illustrious footballing career

Kaka has been one of the best players to have played the game of football since the turn of the millennium. He has made 92 appearances for Brazil from 2002- 2016 and has scored 29 goals for the five-time world champions. The stylish attacking midfielder had also got the opportunity of being in the Brazilian squad that went on to win their record fifth World Cup by beating Germany in the final. Brazil are yet to win a World Cup or feature in the summit clash since then. Kaka then got an opportunity to represent some of the well-known football clubs like Sau Paulo, AC Milan and Real Madrid which earned him fame and fortune along with a huge fan-following.
