Brock Lesnar won his debut match against Min Soo Kim. Lesnar dominated the match with strikes and a great takedown, which made him win his debut match. The second match of his career against Frank Mir brought his first UFC loss. Brock Lesnar dominated the entire match with heavy punches, and he was pretty confident about his win, but Frank Mir made a great submission attempt and defeated Lesnar. Brock wanted an immediate rematch against Frank, but UFC lined up the veteran Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture against him in UFC 87. The entire MMA community thought that Couture will beat down Lesnar, but they had to eat their own words when Brock Lesnar shocked the World by defeating Randy Couture. Lesnar became the UFC Heavyweight Champion and got a rematch against Frank Mir in UFC 100. Frank Mir vs Brock Lesnar 2 became one of the best selling PPV fights at that time, and Lesnar proved his worth by successfully defeating Frank Mir in the rematch and retaining his UFC belt.  Brock Lesnar fought his next match after a year in UFC 116 against Shane Carwin. Shane Carwin busted up Lesnar with some heavy shots, but Lesnar kept his ground game strong and submitted Carwin.  After defending his belt for the second time, Lesnar fought Cain Velasquez again in the same year but ended up losing his belt. Brock Lesnar was going good in the fight but suddenly got blown up by Cain’s Velasquez and lost his belt. Brock Lesnar faced another loss in his next fight against Alistair Overeem in UFC 141 and kept himself out of UFC for a long time. Brock Lesnar made his return in UFC 200 against Mark Hunt and won the match, but the match ended up in a no-contest after Lesnar failed his drug test.

Fans were totally expecting a fight between the two of them, but after a while, the matter fizzled out. It seems that Dana White might book the fight for the future, but it is not in the talks right now. "It's the fight I want," he said. "I think everyone wants to fight Brock. We all want to fight Brock." "Dana get on the phone right now. If you haven't called him yet, do it today! What are you waiting for? Get this s--t on the books.
