Boston Celtics beat Cleveland Cavaliers 119-113 on Wednesday, November 6. The match took place at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Gordon Hayward tied a career-high with 39 points. He made all 16 of his two-point attempts during the game. Kemba Walker added 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jayson Tatum and Carsen Edwards also scored in double digits. This was the Celtics' fifth consecutive win this season. 

Collin Sexton was the top scorer for the Cavaliers with 21 points. Tristan Thompson also added 19 points. Kevin Love and Larry Nance scored 17 and 15 points respectively, while both Cedi Osman and Jordan Clarkson finished the game with 12 points.

NBA 2019-20: Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers match report

Hayward scored 16 points in Q1 and 6 points in Q2. He made all nine attempts from the field. Boston was 24 of 44 from the field before halftime and then gained an 11-point advantage on the Cavaliers. Cleveland scored and reduced the lead to 50-48, but Hayward and Marcus Smart scored a three-pointer. Boston had a 61- 52 lead at the end of Q2. Sexton hit a 3 with just over a minute to go, which decreased Boston's lead to 1116-113. Love missed three-pointer down the stretch, which would have tied the game. With only 22 seconds left on the clock, Hayward put in Walker's miss and gave the Celtics a 118-133 lead over the Cavaliers. Walker ended the game with a free throw, giving Boston a 6 point win. Boston made 56% of their 85 attempts from the field.
