The pre-season matches of NBA teams Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers, that are to be held in India, are less than a week away. The games are scheduled to take place on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at the Dome, NSCI, SVP Stadium in Mumbai. Tickets went live in August earlier this year. As a first-of-its-kind event, the team Sacramento Kings are all set to fly in ultimate luxury.
Kings to travel in style
Sacramento Kings, owned by Vivek Ranadive, will be flying to India via Air Drake – a Boeing 767-200ER – which is owned by the Grammy award-winning musician Drake. The purpose was to provide the team maximum comfort for their historic trip to India. Several members of the coaching staff will also be joining the players on their journey. The team is reportedly excited to thoroughly enjoy the unexpected accommodations.

The big game in India
Reports suggest that Ranadive himself reached to Drake, even though accommodations for their travel had already been made. The duration of the flight is estimated to be 22 long hours. Drake's private jet costs around $220 million. The players are all appreciative of Ranadive for setting up the luxurious ride. De’Aaron Fox, a player for the Sacramento Kings, claims that the craft is 'dope', and everyone should be able to check it out. He also plans to read a book or two on the flight and play video games if there is a secure Wi-Fi connection. The team’s second-year forward Marvin Bagley is hoping to write a new album on the plane, promising to keep a pen and pad ready. Sacramento Kings will be leaving in the evening on Monday, September 30, 2019. After making a fuel stop in London, they will have a ten-hour non-stop flight to India. Considering the time change, Kings will land on Wednesday morning.
