NBA: Watch the best plays from Week 2 as Harden, LeBron make history

NBA Week 2 saw some nail-biting and some high-scoring games. Houston Rockets superstar James Harden registered the 80th 40-point game of his career in Week 2.

A year ago, Golden State Warriors were considered as the best team in the NBA. With a move to the swanky new Chase Center in the works, the Warriors were on their way to NBA domination. As such, much was expected of the Warriors this NBA season. However, after injuries to Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell, not to mention five losses already this season, NBA Week 2 sees the Warriors' sheen begin to fade.

That's enough of the doldrums. NBA 2019-20 Week 2 also witnessed some dominating performances across the board. Houston Rockets superstar James Harden registered his 80th 40-point game against the Memphis Grizzlies to see Rockets emerge 107-100 winners in the game. LeBron James recorded a third-straight triple-double to guide the LA Lakers to victory over Chicago Bulls. LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has led one of the most terrifying offences in the league. Leonard, however, is set to miss the game against Milwaukee Bucks. Here's a look at the most impressive plays from NBA Week 2.

A powerhouse performance from 'King' LeBron James meant that the LA Lakers emerged victorious against the Chicago Bulls in NBA Week 2. LeBron James racked up 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds during the game. In doing so, the Lakers star became the oldest player in  NBA history to record 3-straight triple-doubles.

James Harden - the man, the myth, the bearded legend. The Rockets superstar notched up a 44-point display against the Memphis Grizzlies to lead the Houston Rockets to a convincing 107-100 win. Harden, who is considered as the most prolific scorers in the history of the game, surpassed Allan Irvine to register the 80th 40-point game in his career.

The Philadelphia 76ers entered into the game against the Phoenix Suns as the only undefeated team in the NBA so far. However, the Suns have been in impressive form so far this season. The Suns' Devin Booker registered a 40-point display to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 114-109 win over the 76ers.
