Ric Flair has been one of the stalwarts of the WWE. 'The Nature Boy' has had many memorable matches in his four-decade illustrious wrestling career. Ric Flair has competed with the legendary stars like Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, King Kong Bundy, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and many more. Ric Flair is a 16-time world champion. His world championship reigns include eight NWA World Heavyweight Championships, six WCW World Heavyweight Championships and two WWF Championships. Ric Flair is also a Triple Crown Champion. In fact, he is the only Triple Crown Champion in WCW and WWE. Ric Flair was the first-ever WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Apart from the world championships, Flair has become the United States Heavyweight Champion and World Tag Team Champion in WCW and has won the Intercontinental Championship and World Tag Team Championship with WWE. However, lately, Ric Flair has crossed paths with one of the strongest as well as the best WWE divas Becky Lynch.
You have heard that right. Ric Flair had filed for 'The Man' trademark earlier this week as he had an issue with Becky Lynch using 'The Man' nickname. As per reports in a foreign publication, Ric Flair seemed to take issue with The Man being used by Becky Lynch and Taylor Swift. Lynch uses “The Man” on her WWE merchandise and Taylor Swift recently released a song titled, “The Man.”
The WWE Hall of Famer took to social media and made a statement that it was his trademark.
