Dana White took the MMA world by storm after claiming that "Conor is no longer the man and Khabib is the man right now”. MMA fans have assumed that the close relation between Conor McGregor and UFC President Dana White is coming to an end and Conor McGregor has to return if he wants to stay relevant. McGregor has hinted at Frankie Edgar for his return fight through Twitter but Dana White ruled out the possibility of the match and it seems that Conor has to make his return against someone in the lightweight division. Conor McGregor has been demanding a re-match ever since his loss against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 and his recently announced press conference in Moscow has left all the MMA community wondering about the Irish man’s next move.
The Irish superstar had a Twitter feud with lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov a few days back. The feud started with McGregor tweeting about Dana White’s statement and calling Khabib ‘The man’. However, Khabib responded to Conor and called him a drunkard and rapist over Twitter. Conor called Khabib a Pu**y and wanted to see him in Moscow but the lightweight champion responded by saying ‘Rapists are not expected in Moscow’.

Despite the feud, Conor McGregor is going to Moscow. According to reports, Conor is going to hold a press conference on October 24 and it will surely clarify his UFC return. However, the press conference is highly expected to be about the launch of Proper 12 whiskey in Moscow, Russia. After facing a loss in his whiskey business, Conor announced that he will launch Proper 12 in Russia and the press conference might not be about his UFC return. Conor recently posted a photo on Twitter confirming his trip to Moscow.
There are a lot of speculations about McGregor's return. Khabib's name has often popped up but the current lightweight champion will be facing Tony Ferguson next. In the meanwhile, Dustin Poirier has twitted about fighting Conor McGregor and the Irish man himself have mentioned Frankie Edgar's name for the return. However, there is no confirmation about McGregor's return. It seems that UFC President Dana White has also lost his interest over Conor McGregor after so many controversies over the Irish Superstar.
