We often see wrestlers battling it out to be WWE Champion. Surprisingly, some of the wrestlers you see slugging it out on screen happen to be incredibly close in real life. In today's social media age, this can sometimes come across as completely character crushing. It is refreshing to see great in-ring chemistry followed by chemistry and conversation outside the ring as well.

Here are 5 WWE wrestlers who are best friends in real life:

Triple H and Sheamus

That's right. The two wrestlers who have been rivals in WWE for over the past decade are great friends outside the ring. According to sources, Sheamus and Triple H earned respect for each other while working out together and became long-term workout buddies. This makes sense as both men are amongst the most well-built superstars on the roster. Because of their chemistry, WWE officials decided to make the duo rivals and they competed against one another in a lot of matches back in 2009.

Edge and Christian

These two were the Triple H and Shawn Micheals of the modern era. While Edge is a big name on his own, there's something about the pairing of Edge and Christian that makes them extremely watchable. We tend to remember them better as a pair maybe due to the fact that they were introduced as brothers. Whatever it is, we're thankful for ‘the 5-second poses,’ and great tag-team matches we witnessed.

CM Punk and Kofi Kingston

Philip Brooks (CM Punk) must be feeling really happy to see the massive push his friend Kofi Kingston has managed to get. Punk and Kingston met each other when the company decided to make them a tag team. The two became travelling buddies and instantly developed a close friendship. Because of their chemistry, these two were able to become one of the most entertaining tag teams to come out of ECW reboot. In a twist of fate, Kofi Kingston accidentally concussed Punk on his way out of the company in the 2014 Royal Rumble.

Bailey and Sasha Bank

Surprise, Surprise! The inaugural and current women's Tag Team Champions are about as close as two people can get. Sasha Banks and Bailey were both infamously a part of NXT’s four horsewomen which also included Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Sasha and Bailey had such good chemistry that they were teamed up to fight in one of the NXT classic matches. The match later went on to become amongst the best NXT duels in 2015. These two still have a bright future ahead of them, both as a team and as individuals.
