This week’s WWE Raw was filled with some great matches and segments. Though fans didn’t see more of either Seth Rollins or The Fiend, the red band show compensated by taking the new-born rivalry between Braun Strowman and Tyson Fury to a whole new level. WWE officials once again decided to humiliated Rusev in front of the WWE universe, which made for a good segment. Apart from that, many other things happened in Raw which grabbed everyone’s attention.
After winning the WWE Raw Tag-team Championship from Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross at Hell in a Cell, Asuka and Kairi Sane faced Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair on Raw. Though this match was filled with character-defining moments, the main attraction of the match was Kabuki Warriors winning the match by distracting the referee and spitting the so-called green mint on Becky’s face. After the bell rang, the duo started celebrating, but their victory was short-lived as Bliss and Cross entered the ring and punished the Kabuki Warriors for cheating at Hell in a Cell.
Tyson Fury appeared on Raw demanding an apology from Braun Strowman for his actions on the debut episode of SmackDown on FOX. Braun Strowman then entered the ring and warned WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion to not enter the ring again. WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury responded by reminding Strowman that he has not won any world championships in his given profession. The monster among men didn’t like Fury’s words, and a brawl erupted between the two. The security then came and tried to stop the two, however, they were unable to. Dozens of WWE superstars then came in and somehow how restored order.
This week Bobby Lashley took things so far that Rusev snapped and took out all his anger on Randy Orton and Baron Corbin. The evening started with Rusev entering the ring for his match with Randy Orton, but Bobby Lashley appeared on the big screen and interrupted the match. Lashley started shaming the Bulgarian Brute and later revealed that he is in Rusev’s bedroom. Lana then showed up and joined Lashley. She then taunted Rusev by saying "Everything we own is now in my name." Rusev who was feeling betrayed saw Randy Orton and King Corbin laughing at ringside, and unloaded on both the superstars with steel steps.
