WWE Raw Results: Hated superstar surprisingly picks a clean victory to retain the title

It is that day of the week again when the majority of the world deals with Monday blues but the WWE fans go all red because of the scheduling of Monday Night Raw. In this edition of the weekly show, the usual players i.e., The members of Judgment Day, the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes were in action. These superstars kicked off the show as well as ended it.

Cody Rhodes flagged off the event with a segment. He was interrupted by Judgment Day, where Dominik indulged in a mic tussle with him. As Judgment Day was about to make the most of the number game, the main event Jay Uso and later the former Tag Champs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens stood with Cody to make the heels retreat. While it wasn't the perfect start for Judgment Day the night was long enough to secure redemption. So, what transpired on the night? Here's the result card.

Otis vs. Bronson Reed: The fight action began with the one-on-one encounter between Otis and Bronson Reed. It was a fun match that did not last long. Both men were in the superior position at different points in the match. In the end, Reed got the clean win after landing a Tsunami.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Ludwig Kaiser: All is not well between the members of the Imperium as Giovanni Vinci once again became the reason behind the fury of Gunther. Vinci's interception from the outside cost his teammate Kaiser the match.

Natalya vs. Tegan Nox: At this point in WWE, Natalya has become a stepping stone and a superstar that is needed to promote the other talent. Tegan Nox picked up an easy win over Natalya.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee: Dominik Mysterio did his best in the match and surprisingly picked up a clean win over Dragon Lee. With the win, Domnik retained the WWE North American Title. 

Nia Jax vs. Zoey Stark: Ever since she returned to the WWE, Nia Jx has proved to be a force to reckon with. ON Raw she squared off against Zoey Stark and prevailed.

Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre: Drew McIntyre went into a fight with Kofi Kingston after a fun segment with the Miz. After shutting up Miz, McIntyre prevailed over Kofi.

Judgment Day vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn: The main event saw a highly enthralling match between the former Tag champs and current holders. It was a "this is awesome" kind of match. Both the teams went through near fall after near fall and in the end, after numerous interferences, The Judgment Day was able to retain their titles.
