The women’s division in WWE has performed extremely well over the years and WWE SmackDown has treated the fans to some of the most entertaining matches they have ever seen.

A look at some of the best women's rivalries on WWE SmackDown

Bayley vs Charlotte Flair

Charlotte’s father used underhanded tricks and tactics to gain an edge over his opponents for years. His daughter was on the other side of it throughout her rivalry against Bayley. Charlotte, however, won the final battle as she closed the bitter rivalry by claiming a record 10th Women’s Championship.

Asuka vs Becky Lynch

Asuka and Becky Lynch were involved in an interesting rivalry on WWE SmackDown earlier this year. The feud ended with Asuka digging deep to defeat Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble PPV. Lynch won the Women's Royal Rumble match the same night and soon captured the Raw Women's Championship after the win. Lynch and Asuka never had a one-on-one fight since then.

Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair

Becky Lynch has arguably become one of the biggest stars in WWE. Her rivalry with Charlotte which saw her as an underdog through the most part of the feud definitely helped her capitalise and build upon the heat Charlotte has been receiving from fans for being majorly pushed to the top since being brought onto the main roster; your answer in case you wonder why almost every rivalry on this list involves Charlotte Flair.

Becky’s rant against the WWE and Charlotte made her an immediate fan favourite as she headlined the PPV which generated the loudest of reactions from the WWE Universe. It was this rivalry that made her an unprecedented accomplishment for a female star and got Becky Lynch her first Women’s Championship win.

Naomi vs Charlotte Flair 

This was another brief rivalry on WWE Smackdown. Since Charlotte was drafted back to Smackdown Live, there was a lot of excitement amongst fans who were expecting a feud between these two talented women down the line. It wasn’t too long before the two clashed in a one-on-one action which showcased the potential both these women have in the ring. Naomi and Charlotte broke out some of the best sequences during the fight.

WWE: More memorable rivalries to come

WWE has taken major steps in the last two years to assure that women would get what they deserve. From longer matches to more titles and opportunities, and finally main-eventing PPVs. Ever since the Women’s evolution, the ladies have been major milestones, and on October 28 this year, they are looking to do it again with the first-ever all women’s PPV event.
