AEW's Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose slams WWE for ‘stupid scripts’

Dean Ambrose is a name every WWE fan knows and remembers. Dean Ambrose made his name in WWE for being a part of Shield and his crazy persona. But as many may know that Ambrose has now joined AEW and there he goes by his real name 'Jon Moxley. Moxley is clearly one of the greatest wrestlers in today’s time to make this change. Recently, Moxley criticised WWE for its “stupid scripts” and revealed that he was lying to the fans for years. He also said that he used to get very limited creative control when it came to promos and storylines. He even compared WWE to AEW and said that he now has more freedom than before.

Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose slams WWE 

Talking to an International wrestling website, Moxley said that they used to give him stupid scripts and he used to say things like "‘I’m going to eviscerate your skull." And after saying these lines in a segment, he used to tell himself that he can't really do such things. Moxley revealed that WWE is an undergoing a ‘PG ear’ and there are some rules they have to follow. WWE has to keep the shows Kid-friendly, and the violence level down, because of that they can’t show a lot of blood and eviscerating someone’s skull cannot happen. He revealed that by selling the violence that’s just not going to happen, he was lying to his fans.

Moxley went on to thank AEW and praised the Tony Khan-led industry for giving him the freedom he wants. He also praised AEW for the wrestlers they have. Moxley then revealed that unlike WWE, AEW doesn’t want writers and produces, the AEW officials and wrestlers come together and work on the segments themselves. He ended by saying that wrestlers like him, Jericho, Kenny, Cody, The Bucks, PAC, and Spears can all go to WWE and earn a lot of money, but they decide not to. He said that all the wrestlers enjoy the freedom they are getting.
