WWE: Why did Eric Bischoff leave?

The 64-year-old former WCW President gave heavy competition to WWE back in the days, but WWE managed to keep its ground strong and emerged as the more powerful wrestling organisation in the world. However, WWE CEO Vince McMahon felt that Eric Bischoff’s experience can be useful for his organisation and appointed him as the SmackDown Executive Director a few months back but it did not last long. According to reports, Bischoff failed to keep up with WWE’s agenda and his co-workers wanted him to leave the spot. In a recent interview with an American magazine, Bryan Alvarez opened up about Bischoff’s current situation in WWE. According to Alvarez, Bischoff did not know any of the new talents in WWE and had no intentions of changing it. He was quiet in the office and showed no energy or enthusiasm to be seen as the WWE SmackDown Executive Director. It was also reported that Bischoff was unaware of a lot of big names in WWE. This really pissed off the WWE CEO Vince McMahon and forced him to fire Bischoff from the post.
